The Committee for Jazz at Meade features Vibe Collective/Latin Jazz

The Vibe Collective is dedicated to laying down the tight grooves and inventive improvisations that typified the Afro-Cuban music scenes of New York and San Francisco in the
1960s and beyond. The diverse group of musicians brings their backgrounds in music ranging from mambo, rumba, samba, calypso, timba, jazz and afro- beat to the works of Cal Tjader, Miles Davis, Horace Silver, Tito Puente, Mongo
Santamaria and many more. With strong foundations in dance and dance accompaniment, the Vibe Collective churns out rhythms that move the bodies and spirits of the audience.

Light refreshments will be served, and parking is available in the church's lot and on the street.
