It Runs in the Family art exhibit explores how the need to create runs in families. Do we make art because we grew up in families that encouraged creativity or did we inherit the creativity gene? Interpreting “family” very loosely, Del Ray Artisans asked area artists to show us their artistic heritage by submitting a collection of their family’s artworks. Opening reception is on Friday, September 7 from 7-10pm. The show runs September 7-30.
