Del Ray's Favorite Bob Marley Songs

Reggae great would have turned 68 on Wednesday.

Bob Marley would have been 68 years old on Wednesday. To mark the occasion, I asked Del Ray Patch Facebook and Twitter followers to offer their favorite tunes from the late reggae great.

I went with 1973’s “Stir It Up” mainly for the guitar solo, but it was a really tough call.

Here’s what you guys offered up on the Del Ray Patch Facebook page:

Pete Lundgren: Waiting in Vain

Lindsey Swanson: Hard to choose one but I'd go with Redemption Song.

And on Twitter:

@Gtwodagee: Gotta go with Mr. Brown; the organ sounds like no other EVER!

@AnnaPJs Three Little Birds. Definitively. You just "feel" that song, every time.

@wdncnu Redemption Song, and no other answers should be accepted.

What’s your favorite Bob Marley song? Tell us in the comments.

@wdncnu is right. Redemption Song is the alpha and the omega.
