Salvation Army to Hold Flea Market on Saturday

Market coincides with Art on the Avenue.

The Salvation Army Alexandria Women’s Auxiliary is holding its annual flea market on Saturday to coincide with Art on the Avenue in Del Ray.

From 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, the flea market will be held at the Salvation Army Alexandria Citadel Corps at 1804 Mount Vernon Ave. The market will feature antique and estate items, jewelry, art, books, household goods and a yard sale.

“The flea market is perfect for bargain hunters to search for gently used items and maybe even put a dent into their Christmas shopping list,” said Lt. Sheri Jones, Associate Corps Officer for the Salvation Army Alexandria. “The funds raised from the flea market help the Salvation Army continue doing the most good in the lives of Alexandrians in need through the wide variety of services we offer.”
