Question of the Week: Snowmageddon Memories

What do you remember from the big storm?

This past weekend marked the one-year anniversary of the blizzard of 2010, better known as “Snowmageddon,” “Snowpocolypse” or the astoundingly creative “kaisersnoze.”

The storm dropped as much as 36 inches of snow in the Washington, D.C. region. The government shut its doors. So did schools and businesses. In Del Ray, people lost power in their homes and neighbors reached out to one another. And there was shoveling. Copious amounts of it.

Now a year removed from the storm, what are your memories? How did you cope? Is there a particular story or image that stands out in your mind? Let us know in the comments section.
