The Station at Potomac Yard Holds Open House

The property, overseen by the Alexandria Housing Development Corporation, is opening its doors as part of a day-long event highlighting affordable housing.

The Alexandria Housing Development Corporation property, the Station at Potomac Yard, will represent the City of Alexandria in a regional “Parade of Homes.”

The event is put together by the Communications Action Network and features 17 communities throughout the District, Northern Virginia and Maryland.

The event is designed to allow the public to visit affordable housing developments throughout the metro area.

The Station at Potomac Yard was chosen to showcase its mix of land uses such as a fire station, retail and affordable housing within the same structure.

Tours of the Station are available this Saturday, May 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
