MOM's Organic Market to Treat Four Mile Run Volunteers to Cookout

MOM’s Organic Market will be treating volunteers contributing to Saturday’s Four Mile Run cleanup to a cookout at the grocery store. 

The cleanup begins at 9 a.m. and volunteers are asked to park at the Four Mile Run Park Community Building located at 4109 Mount Vernon Ave., at MOM’s Organic Market (park near the edge of Four Mile Run Park) or at the end of Commonwealth Avenue near the baseball fields.  

The cookout will follow the cleanup at 11 a.m.

The Arlandria Civic Association and the Hume Springs Citizens Association have teamed up to reserve the Four Mile Run Park Community Building from 9 a.m. to noon to provide a place for volunteers to learn about the Four Mile Run restoration efforts. It will serve as a rest stop for volunteers and the rain location for MOM's cookout. Restroom facilities are also available on-site.
