'Lights, Camera, Fashion' Marks Final First Thursday of 2013

The fun gets started at 6 p.m. Thursday along Mount Vernon Avenue.

The Del Ray Business Association is inviting the community out to the final First Thursday of the year from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5 all along Mount Vernon Avenue.

The theme of the night is “Lights, Camera, Fashion: Del Ray Rocks the Red Carpet” and many Del Ray businesses are participating in fashion shows throughout the evening at the Del Ray farmers market lot, located at the corner of Mount Vernon and E. Oxford avenues.

Mayor Bill Euille, Councilwoman Del Pepper and Sheriff Dana Lawhorne have been asked to reprise roles as fashion models for the event.
