First Thursday: Main Street Celebration
Event will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. along Mount Vernon Avenue.
The Del Ray Business Association will host this month’s First Thursday street festival from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. July 11 along Mount Vernon Avenue.
The theme of the event is “Main Street Celebration” with lots of activities planned for the farmers market lot and businesses and organizations showcased up and down Mount Vernon Avenue.
The event was scheduled for July’s second Thursday to avoid a conflict with the Independence Day holiday.

Here’s the schedule for the remainder of this summer’s First Thursday festivals in Del Ray:
- Aug. 1 — Did You Know? Highlighting some of the lesser-known businesses in Del Ray.
- Sept. 5 — Lights, Camera, Action!
