Euille Delivers State of the City Address

Alexandria Mayor Bill Euille discusses quality of life, development and Potomac Yard Metro station in 18-minute video address.

The City of Alexandria debuted Mayor Bill Euille’s State of the City Address on Wednesday.

The 18-minute video address was filmed at George Washington Middle School in Del Ray and features Euille answering questions for Alexandria City Public Schools students.

The mayor’s remarks cover a multitude of issues, including quality of life in Alexandria, development, youth and education, transportation and the environment.

Euille also addresses the recently adopted fiscal year 2014 budget, the planned Potomac Yard Metro station, new development, affordable housing and economic accomplishments.
