Duncan Library Book Sale Begins Wednesday with Special Preview

Sale opens to the public on Thursday and runs through Saturday.

The Duncan Library spring book sale gets underway Wednesday night with a members-only preview.

The sale opens to the public Thursday when the Alexandria library branch opens and runs through Saturday.

Adult hardback books will be available for $3, while adult paperbacks and children’s hardcover titles will be on sale for $1. Children’s paperbacks will be available for 50 cents. Some media will also be available for purchase.

All the money raised will be used to support operations at Duncan Library.

Members of The Friends of Duncan Library will be able to take a crack at the inventory from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Membership will be available Wednesday evening for non-members looking to get involved and to get an early look at the sale.

The sale then runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
