Arlandria Hosting Community Open House

Event will run during the final two hours of the Four Mile Run Farmers and Artisans Market.

An Arlandria Community Open House will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, June 2 at the Four Mile Run Park Community Building, located at 4109 Mount Vernon Ave.

The open house is aimed at bringing together members of the community and the Arlandria Action Plan Implementation Advisory Group to learn about work related to the 2003 Arlandria Action Plan.

City staff, members of the Arlandria-Chirilagua Business Association and community activists will be on hand to provide updates and answer questions about pedestrian and bicycling improvements, economic development, the Four Mile Run Expansion Project and the Four Mile Run Restoration Project.

The Arlandria Open House is a great opportunity to see all the changes that have come to the area recently with an eye on what's to come.

The open house will be held during the final two hours of the Four Mile Run Farmers and Artisans Market, held in the lot adjacent to the community building. Acoustic folk-pop singer-songwriter Emily Henry will be performing at 11 a.m. at the market. Children will be able to participate in an art activity.
