DETAILS: For the third week in a row, Julie’s Datery will sell its stuffed dates at the Del Ray Farmers’ Market this Saturday.

“The demand for our stuffed dates from the Del Ray community has exceeded our expectations,” said Julie’s Datery founder and president Julie Reynes. “We make our stuffed dates in Alexandria. I live here and just love sharing my delicious dates with my neighbors.”

Julie’s Datery uses Medjool dates from California, a variety known for its large size and sweetness. The recipes for the stuffing placed in the dates include all-natural ingredients and features a balance of nuts, fruits and spices. Julie’s Datery date flavors include Almond Lemon, Hazelnut Chocolate, and Pistachio Orange. The company assembles all of their stuffed dates by hand in rented commercial kitchen space in Alexandria.
