Trivia Night — Fireflies Restaurant (1501 Mount Vernon Ave.) hosts its trivia night beginning at 8 p.m. Reservations are recommended and can be placed by calling 703-758-7200.

Free Fitness ClassGladiator Fitness is hosting a free fitness boot camp at 5:30 p.m. at the Four Mile Run Park Building (4109 Mount Vernon Ave.). Busy tonight? Gladiator Fitness offers another free class on Thursday night in the same location.

24 Hours — We’re a little short on events today, so let’s sneak in a little business: On Monday, the Del Ray Business Association voted to support a proposal from the 7-Eleven at 2108 Mount Vernon Ave. to extend its hours of operation to 24 hours. The convenience store would not sell alcohol between midnight and 6 a.m. The public will have an opportunity to provide input on the proposal before the city considers approval.

Restaurant Week Reminder — Alexandria kicks off its restaurant week on Friday night with $35 dinner-for-two and three-course prix-fixe options at participating restaurants. Plan your dining adventures on the Alexandria Convention and Visitors Association website.  

"Much Ado About Nothing" — The Shakespeare Theatre Company’s Free for All performance opens Tuesday at Sidney Harman Hall (610 F St NW, Washington, D.C.). Runs through Sept. 1. Tuesday’s performance is at 7:30 p.m.
