The "Victory and Thank You Party" will celebrate the victories of City Councilman-Elect John Taylor Chapman, as well as School Board Member-Elect Bill Campbell, who are both members of the Departmental Progressive Club, one of the oldest African-American social clubs in the Commonwealth.
There will be heavy hors d'oeuvres and punch for your enjoyment, with a cash bar available.

This historic social and volunteer club hosts parties, dances and other social functions for members and their guests. The 83-year-old establishment also participates in fund raising for other local organizations and charities. The Departmental Progressive Club is also part of Alexandria's historic African-American heritage.
