Visit this juried photography exhibition to view art that tells, compels, implies, or suggests some sort of narrative or story: character, place, mood, feeling, plot, past, present, future, each richly implying a story the viewers are induced to imagine from the photographer’s visual vocabulary.  Any photographic technique qualifies, from pinhole camera, to film, to digital, to collage, whether monochrome or color.  Visitors can expect a variety of images and interpretations of the theme.

The show curator is Jeanne Tifft, Del Ray Artisans member and fine art photographer. The jurors are fine art photographer John H. Brown, Jr. and photographer/ educator E. Brady Robinson.

The gallery will be CLOSED on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 22), but will be OPEN the weekend after Thanksgiving (Nov. 23-25). The last day to view the exhibit is Sunday, November 25.

Situated next to an elementary school and park, the Del Ray Artisans has become a staple of the community. This venue can be found packed full of people on the first Friday of every month when a new exhibit is unveiled. Inside, the elegant hardwood floors do not distract visitors from the art that surrounds them. Many who visit will be found leaving with a tote bag, this gallery's most popular souvenir.
