Beatley Central Library is a 60,200-square-foot educational facility with a huge selection of adult and children's reading material as well as Internet stations, six word processing stations for free public use, wireless Internet access and self-checkout machines. The library is bright and spacious and offers new releases of DVDs, CDs and books on CD, as well as several shelves of used books at rock-bottom prices. Beatley hosts children's programs and activities including storytimes for ages one through six, as well as homebound visits and on-site collections for adults and children who are unable to visit. Its meeting rooms, which seat up to 150 people, are available by reservation.
