"Brian Pagels is a Jersey-raised, NOVA-living, carpetbagging songster. He’s been writing and performing gritty, soulful acoustic tunes for a decade. Brian got his start playing Richmond bars with Through The Wall, and broke into the D.C. scene with Aussie-American outfit Coalition of the Willing. Recently, he’s been playing solo, as one half of guitar-violin duo Sawdust and Sugar, with a reunited Through The Wall, and collaborating with other talented local musicians.
Brian is also a co-founder of DCmusicpub.com, where he blogs about the DC music scene and promotes fellow musicians and venues that support live music."
He will also be performing with his band, The Beanstalk Library, at Evening Star on Wednesday, June 20th.
