Alternative Medicine in Alexandria: New Pathways to Health
Agenda:Alexandria examines the options beyond traditional medicine available in Alexandria. Our panelists will describe the benefit of a holistic approach to medicine by treating the cause of illness - not just the symptoms. We will learn the benefits of herbal medicine and how yoga can improve your health and well being. Finally, we will hear about the manufacture of medicines in the 18th Century dispensed by the Stable-Leadbeater Apothecary Shop - before the days of “Big Pharma.”
