The Holiday Shopping Tour is a fun event and a great way to kick off the holiday season. On Saturday December 8, we will take about 70 underprivileged children from Alexandria to Target and shop with them; allowing them to spend up to 50 dollars to purchase gifts for their parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters. All of the gifts purchased by participating children are paid for by the Alexandria Jaycees.

On December 8, volunteers will meet in the cafe at the Potomac Yards Target (3101 Jefferson Davis Hwy) at 8AM.

We will go shopping with the kids for holiday gifts before we take them to the Campagna Center (418 S. Washington St) to help them wrap their gifts, have a pizza party, and a surprise visit from Santa. DASH is donating two buses to transport the kids and volunteers from Target to the Campagna Center and back to Target.

The event will wrap up around 1PM.
