There will be food, music and fun at this fundraiser, all proceeds benefit the Alexandria Fire Department.
1:30 p.m. – Commencement of activitives by Town Crier Benjamin Fiore-Walker.
1:45 p.m. – Alexandria singer/songwriter duo Suzanne Ives and Michael Dunkley of BumpKin Pie
2:45 p.m. – New Roots strummers extraordinaire Herb & Hanson
3:45 p.m. – The Kate Moran Band

The Friendship Firehouse Benefit Picnic made possible by Renner & Company, Simpson Development Co., Virginia Commerce Bank and the Virginia Theological Society benefits the Alexandria Fire Department.

Updates to the event: On the menu are Alexandria favorites: Pork Barrel BBQ, Hard Times Cafe, Alexandria Cupcake and Ben & Jerry's.
Activities include the Fearless Fireman obstacle course, Bucket Brigade balloon splash, moon bounce, Fabulous Frisbee Toss, Hoops, Beanbag and Gummi Bear toss, volleyball, sack races and more!
