Wythe Street Park Planners Seek Community Input

The city is hosting an open house to discuss creating a one-acre park on the Wythe Street Post Office block.

 

The City of Alexandria is hosting an open house for community members to learn about current efforts to create a community park on a one-acre portion of the Wythe Street Post Office block.

Members of city staff will be at the informal event to discuss park planning efforts and listen to input on park configuration, programming and elements.

Attendees are welcome to arrive at any point between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., March 9 at the Asher Apartments, 620 N. Fayette St., in the vacant retail space on the corner of Pendleton and Fayette streets. Light refreshments will be provided.

Nowhere. The park would go in a portion of the block that also includes the post office.
