Wythe Street Homicide Suspect Arrested in Georgia
Fabian D. Johnson was wanted in Oct. 20 death of Alexandria resident Bob Cory McNeely.
Fabian D. Johnson, an 18-year-old Washington, D.C. resident wanted in the Oct. 20 Wythe Street homicide of Alexandria resident Bob Cory McNeely, was arrested Thursday in Georgia, according to a release from the Alexandria Police Department.
No further details of Johnson’s arrest or the police investigation were available Thursday evening.
According to court records, Johnson was ticketed for trespassing in Alexandria on Oct. 19. He had a court date scheduled for Oct. 26.
McNeely, 40, died after suffering a gunshot wound to the upper body around 10:10 p.m. on Oct. 20 in the 1200 block of Wythe Street.
McNeely’s death was the first homicide in Alexandria in 2011.
