3. Saturday is National Drug Take Back Day. You can bring your unused, old and expired prescriptions to the George Washington Masonic National Memorial from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
4. The ParkFairfax Native Plant Sale will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 3601 Valley Drive.
5. There are several opportunities to volunteer or attend a benefit this weekend:
- National Rebuilding Day will be held on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Alexandria.
- Day of Service: Adopt-A-Block, on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at 1100 Wythe St.
- The 13th annual Brunch Benefiting Inova Alexandria Hospital will be held Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Union Street Public House.
- The ninth annual Carpenter's Chili Cook-Off will be held Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. at The Birchmere.
- Step ALIVE! Walkathon will start at 2 p.m. Sunday at 2723 King St.
