Slaters Market, located at 1561 Potomac Greens Dr., will open its doors at 10 a.m. Friday.
Located just off Slaters Lane between Buzz Bakery and Tropical Smoothie Cafe, the market carries fresh produce, dairy products and other items.
The market will host its first wine tasting from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday.
The storefront previously housed Hairy Situations, which moved across the street in September.
Along with produce and dairy products, the 800-square-foot Slaters Market will carry beverages, bread, flowers and other household items.
