Restaurant Week Choices in Del Ray and Arlandria
Five neighborhood restaurants participating in 10-day event.
Alexandria Winter Restaurant Week kicks off Friday with more than 50 eateries in the city offering $35 three-course dinners or $35 dinners for two.
In the Del Ray-Arlandria area, five restaurants are participating in the 10-day event that coincides with presidential inauguration celebrations.
Cheesetique—now open on Mondays—is offering a select-three board, choice of two entrees and chocolate mousse to share.
Del Ray Pizzeria’s special includes a bottle of wine, salad and choice of any large presidentially certified pizza. These three pizza selections were included in Barack Obama’s order when he visited the restaurant for takeout in 2011 (Check out these other presidential culinary connections during restaurant week).
Fireflies is offering a choice of two starters and two sandwiches, pizzas, entrée salads or other entrees and a bread pudding dessert to share. The restaurant is also offering specials on its new beer list, which contains many local selections.

RT’s three-course menu includes choice of special appetizers, entrees and desserts.
