Growers share harvest at annual Chinquapin Organic Gardens Potluck Picnic.
Plot-holders at the Chinquapin Organic Gardens met Saturday to share their harvest at the group's 13th annual potluck picnic.
Gardeners prepared a large spread comprised entirely of foods made with ingredients grown in the community gardens, which are located next to T.C. Williams High School.
Awards were handed out for best gardens and the group held a tomato taste-off. Alexandria City Councilwoman Del Pepper helped hand out the certificates.

Thanks, Dana. Maybe just some zucchini next time. I should probably stay away from the chocolate and the cake.
