School and local officials celebrated the official opening of the T.C. Satellite Campus Tuesday morning at Landmark Mall.
Speakers included Madye Henson, ACPS deputy superintendent; Alexandria Mayor Bill Euille; Sheryl Gorsuch, chairman of the Alexandria City School Board; ACPS Superintendent Morton Sherman; Gregory Forbes, director of secondary school counseling; John Olsen, executive vice president of operations for Aventa K-12; two students; and a parent.
The satellite campus is the first comprehensive, non-traditional satellite high school campus in Northern Virginia. Read about the event here.
