Photo Gallery: 10 Years of The Dairy Godmother

A glance at Del Ray's beloved custard shop

Thursday marked the 10th anniversary of Del Ray's beloved .

Opened as The Del Ray Dreamery in 2001, owner Liz Davis has offered the same Wisconsin-style frozen custard throughout the years along with a bevy of other tasty treats.

There's been plenty writtenrecorded and filmed about the custard shop, and the place has had its fair share of guests as well—including a Father's Day visit from President Obama in 2009.

Fans and neighbors frantically follow her flavor forecast on the shop's website and The Dairy Godmother Twitter page, where Davis is known to drop a little Wisconsin wisdom as well.

To mark the occasion, photographer Hilary Kline captured these shots of people (and dogs) enjoying The Dairy Godmother's treats on its anniversary.
