Metro Access to Reagan National Airport to Close This Weekend
Airport and Crystal City Metro stations will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday through end of Sunday.
Metro will shut down access to Reagan National Airport this weekend due to track work on the Blue and Yellow lines.
Both the airport and Crystal City stations will be closed beginning 10 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Trains will terminate at the Braddock Road and Pentagon City stations.
Shuttle buses will operate between those two stations, making stops at the closed stations. Metro advises that riders traveling through the work zone allow an additional 30 minutes of travel time to their schedules.
The repairs to Metro include tie renewal, insulator renewal and cable installation to improve cell phone coverage.
