Father-daughter team of franchisees added modern features like plasma TVs and free wireless Internet access.
McDonald’s franchisees Carlos Mateos and daughter, Jillian Mateos, are trying something new with a major renovation of the McDonald’s on N. Henry St.
The father-daughter team hosted Mayor Bill Euille and Councilwomen Del Pepper and Alicia Hughes at the newly renovated store on Friday morning.
The Mateos’ rebuild plan included upgrading infrastructure and enhancing restaurant capacity. Architecturally, the improvements include a new entryway into the restaurant and modern community and lounge seating areas. The interior also sports plasma screen TVs and free Wi-Fi access.
