Local TV Covers Del Ray's Adult-Only Sushi Spot

WUSA 9 and WJLA 7 both run news pieces about the restaurant Wednesday evening.

Local television news crews descended on Del Ray Wednesday for reports on the neighborhood’s soon-to-open, 18-and-over sushi restaurant.

Del Ray Patch first reported on plans for the restaurant in the 2300 block of Mount Vernon Avenue on April 9.

“Mango” Mike Anderson and his partners have hired a sushi chef and are preparing to open the bar in mid-May. The restaurant currently has a Facebook page.

WUSA 9 ran a report on the restaurant during its 5 p.m. Wednesday newscast (the video is available above). WJLA 7 also ran a piece during a Wednesday evening broadcast.
