IHOP Supporting Local LLS Chapter with Pancake Giveaway

The Potomac Yard IHOP is offering free short stacks on Tuesday in hopes patrons will donate to the National Capital Area Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

The IHOP restaurant at Potomac Yard is offering its support Tuesday to the National Capital Area Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

The restaurant is giving away free short stacks of buttermilk pancakes (on National Pancake Day, of course) in hopes patrons will make a donation to LLS.

The free pancakes will be available from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday for dine-in customers only. There is a limit of one short stack per guest.

Last year, the giveaway at several IHOP restaurants in the region raised $200,000 for the local LLS chapter. Organizers are hoping to raise $275,000 this year.

The LLS mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
