Del Ray Artisans is opening its 17th annual Holiday Market this weekend.

Fine arts and crafts from local artists, including pottery, ceramics, photography, jewelry, cloth, paper crafts and glass will be for sale.

The market kicks off Friday night with a reception from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the DRA gallery located at 2704 Mount Vernon Ave. It continues from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

The DRA Holiday Market continues the following two weekends (Friday through Sunday). Admission is free.

A bake sale will be held to benefit Computer CORE, an organization that helps low-income adults acquire the technology and life skills to pursue careers.

The market will also include a kids table, where children can shop and purchase items for family members at what DRA promises are piggybank-friendly prices.
