Dos Amigos to Open Tuesday

Tex-Mex restaurant is located near Braddock Metro in space previously occupied by Grass Roots Station.

Dos Amigos Bar and Grill, a new Tex-Mex restaurant located at 535 E. Braddock Rd., is opening Tuesday.

The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday. A menu is posted on the restaurant’s website, featuring entrees between $9.95 and $18.95.

Dos Amigos also has a Facebook page and Twitter account

In a message on the Dos Amigos website, Salvadoran owners Ricardo Arias and Hector Lobo write that the restaurant “will offer a casual atmosphere where you can enjoy a meal with your family or grab a margarita with friends after work. We also serve lunch so come on in during your lunch break — Free Wi-Fi!”

The restaurant space, located close to Braddock Road Metro station, most recently housed Grass Roots Station restaurant.

Local architect Marlin Lord helped oversee some interior renovations, including the addition of a bar. Lord oversaw the addition of a new dining room at Los Tios on Mount Vernon Avenue.
