Del Ray Farmers' Market Taking a Week Off

Some vendors will be selling snack items at Saturday's Art on the Avenue festival.

The Del Ray Farmers' Market will not be held on Saturday because of the Art on the Avenue festival, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. along Mount Vernon Avenue.

Pat Miller, market master and chief organizer of Art on the Avenue, said some of the regular vendors will be selling snacks at Saturday’s festival instead.

The Del Ray Farmers' Market will resume on Oct. 13.

If you’re in need of produce or other treats this weekend, the Old Town Farmers' Market will be held as scheduled on Saturday morning in Market Square. The Four Mile Run Farmers and Artisans Market in Arlandria and the West End Farmers' Market in Ben Brenman Park will also run as scheduled on Sunday.
