Crime Report: Arcade Theft at Regal Cinemas

March 17 — An arrest was made at 11:14 a.m. on the 3300 block of Montrose Avenue for an assault that occurred between two or more people who had a prior relationship or were known to each other.

March 18 — It was reported at 9:18 a.m. that an unknown suspect or suspects entered a victim’s vehicle by unknown means on the 400 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue and stole an iPod adapter and GPS unit while the vehicle was parked in front of the victim’s residence. Case is pending.

March 18 — An arrest was made for shoplifting at 4:01 p.m. on the 3800 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.

March 18 — It was reported at 7 p.m. that an unknown suspect or suspects broke the locks on three arcade games at the Regal Cinemas at Potomac Yard and took money out of the machines. Case is pending.

March 18 — An assault between two or more people who had a prior relationship or were known to each other occurred was reported at 11:29 p.m. on the 3000 block of Manning Street.

March 21 — A theft offense was reported at 6:18 a.m. on the 900 block of Glebe Road. An unknown suspect caused damage to the victim’s vehicle. Case is pending.

March 21 — A victim reported at 2:16 p.m. than an unknown suspect entered her vehicle parked in her driveway on the 400 block of Lloyds Lane and stole coins from the console. Case is pending.

March 21 — At 7:03 p.m., two victims who share the same residence on the 500 block of Woodland Terrace reported that unknown suspects entered their vehicles through unknown means and rummaged through the glove compartments and stole coins. Case is pending.

March 22 — An arrest was made at 7:49 a.m. on the 100 block of Wesmond Drive for an assault that occurred between two or more people who had a prior relationship or were known to each other.

March 22 — A victim reported at 2:17 p.m. that an unknown suspect stole a license plate from his vehicle while is was parked on the 3900 block of Bruce Street.

March 22 — It was reported at 5:39 p.m. that an unknown suspect or suspects punctured the ignition of a victim’s motorcycle while it was parked and chained to a railing in a garage on the 100 block of Luna Park Drive in an attempt to steal it. Case is pending.

March 23 — A victim reported at 11:16 a.m. that the catalytic converter was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked on the 1600 block of Commonwealth Avenue. Case is pending.

March 23 — A victim reported at 10:15 p.m. on the 3500 block of Jefferson Davis Highway that an unknown subject nearly ran him down with his vehicle as the victim was crossing in a crosswalk. The victim made a motion to the subject and the subject turned around, parked his vehicle and argued with the victim. The victim then said he was pushed and had his cell phone broken against the wall. The subject then fled the scene in his vehicle. Case is pending.

March 24 — It was reported at 11:45 a.m. that an unknown suspect or suspects opened a FedEx box left on the front porch of the victim’s residence on the first block of E. Rosemont Avenue and stole the boots that were in the box. Case is pending.

March 26 — An arrest was made at 11:59 p.m. after a known suspect defrauded the owner of a garage on the 2800 block of Jefferson Davis Highway. The suspect reportedly drove his acquaintance’s vehicle from the garage after it was repaired claiming that he made a deal with the technician who worked on the vehicle.

March 27 — A shoplifting offense was reported at 12:44 a.m. at the CVS Pharmacy on Monroe Avenue. Case is pending.

March 27 — An assault was reported at 5:36 p.m. on the 600 block of Four Mile Road between two or more people who had a prior relationship or were known to each other. Case is pending.

March 28 — A theft was reported at 11:36 p.m. on the 400 block of E. Glebe Road. Case is pending.

March 28 — A theft from a vehicle was reported at 8:14 a.m. on the 3500 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.

March 28 — An arrest was made at 6:58 p.m. on the 3900 block of Bruce Street for an assault that occurred between two or more people who had a prior relationship or were known to each other.
