The Del Ray Mural Youth Project went up on Saturday during Art on the Avenue. As anticipated, the whole community picked up a paint brush and chipped in.
Project organizer Leisa Collins said hundreds of children and other festival attendees assisted in the painting in addition to the five youth teams that were assembled to complete the project.

As someone who wasn't present at this activity back in October, it's wonderful to be able to view these photos now and see the progression of the painting. It looks like people really enjoyed painting, and the results are spectacular! I'm so glad you kept this up on the website for me to enjoy these many months later.
