Alexandria to Hold Veterans Day Ceremony
One-hour ceremony begins at 1 p.m. at Mount Vernon Recreation Center.

The Friends of Rocky Versace will host its 11th annual Veterans Day ceremony at 1 p.m. Monday at Mount Vernon Recreation Center in Del Ray.
The one-hour ceremony will include the reading of the names of 67 Alexandrians who were killed or went missing in Vietnam, recognition of all veterans, reading of Capt. Versace’s Medal of Honor citation, the reading of a tribute written by one of Versace’s fellow prisoners of war and the playing of taps.
