ACPS Invites Community to Back-to-School Family Night
Alexandria City Public Schools host a free event for families, including activities and school supplies.
Alexandria City Public Schools is hosting a free Back to School Family Night on Aug. 29.
Richard Jordan of news channel NBC 4 will emcee the event, which runs from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at T.C. Williams High School.
Pedro Noguera, an education specialist currently at New York University focusing on ways schools are influenced by social and economic conditions, will offer the keynote.
There will also be fitness, art, science, cooking and dance activities as well as a school supply giveaway.
